Contemporary Controls has released a new instruction sheet for its BAST-121C Single Mode thermostats which explains how to change the Control Type and System Mode from heating and/or cooling using the Engineering Menu or via a network connection to a BACnet client.
The BAST-121C thermostats are part of the BASstat series of BACnet compliant devices, available in both wired (BAST-121C-B2) and wireless (BAST-121C-BW2) models. These thermostats support multistage heating-only or cooling-only control for binary or analog output applications, such as unitary heating or cooling systems. They can control one or two stages of heating, one or two stages of Direct Expansion (DX) cooling, or a single 0-10 V modulating output for either heating or cooling.
The BAST-121C models are BTL listed to ensure effortless integration into BACnet/IP (Wi-Fi) or BACnet MS/TP (EIA-485) networks. Units can be routed to BACnet/IP clients using a BASrouter (BASRT-B).
All models in the BASstat line of BACnet Communicating Thermostats feature BACnet functionality over MS/TP or Wi-Fi and can be easily supervised by a BACnet client.
In addition to the BAST-121 Single Mode Thermostats, the BASstat series includes models for a range of HVAC applications:
