ISA Expo 2006 in Houston
On October 17 to 19, the Expo 2006 Automation Conference, Exhibition and Training took place at the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas. Industrial Ethernet was a popular subject.
Manning the Contemporary Controls stand were (2nd photo below, left to right) Sales Manager Joe Stasiek and President George Thomas. Setup for the event occurred during a heavy downpour, but by opening day the rain had passed. The tradeshow was well-attended (12,500 attendees/550 exhibitors) and George Thomas observed that, "attendance was good considering the heavy flooding being experienced."
On the first day of the show, Engineering Manager George Karones gave a well-received presentation (3rd photo below) titled, Keep Your Ethernet Control Network "Flowing Smoothly" by Using Managed Switches. Next year the show will again occur at the Reliant Center in Houston.
